BAKING SWAPS!

These always make me crazy happy. It happens all the time, you make more than half your recipe and BAM you’re missing an ingredient you thought you had! Here are some incredible ingredient swaps that work just as perfect! Enjoy!

1 tsp Baking Powder ∇ 1/2 tsp Cream of Tarter + 1/4 Baking Soda

1 tsp Baking Soda ∇ 3 tsp Baking Powder

1 cup Butter ∇ 7/8 cup Vegetable Oil

1 cup Buttermilk ∇ 1 tbsp Lemon Juice + 1 cup Milk

1 cup Cake Flour ∇ 1 cup minus 2 tbsp of All-Purpose Flour

1 square/ounce Chocolate ∇ 3 tbsp Baking Soda + 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

1 tbsp Corn Starch ∇ 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour

1 cup Corn Syrup ∇ 1 cup Sugar + 1/4 cup Water

1 cup Half/Half (Cream) ∇ 1 cup Whole Milk + 1 tbsp of Melted Butter

1 tsp Cream of Tarter ∇ 2 tsp of Vinegar OR Lemon Juice

1 cup Granulated Sugar ∇  1 3/4 cup of Powdered Sugar

1 tsp Lemon ∇1/2 tsp White Vinegar

1 tsp Lemon Juice ∇ 1/2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar

1/2 tsp Salt ∇ 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice

1 cup Sour Cream ∇ 1 cup Plain Yogurt

1 cup Whole milk ∇ 1/2 Evaporated Milk + 1/2 cup of Water

1 whole Egg ∇ 1/4 cup Prunes pureed OR 1/4 cup Mashed Potatoes OR 2 Egg Whites OR 1/4 cup Canned Pumpkin
